YaHshua Shalom.

     This is a very Simple (2Cor.11:3; 1Cor.14:33) statement, yet it seems over the years (363 -> 538 C.E.), the world has Re-written (Dan.7:25; Thank you Jim Pinkowski) Creation (The Word) to Read :

         Granted the New Covenant instructs us:

    Let NO man therefore JUDGE you in Meat, or in Drink, or in RESPECT of an HOLY DAY, or of the New Moon, or of the SHABBAT DAYS: Which are a Shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ (Col.2:16,17); and we know: And He said unto them, The SHABBAT was made for man, and NOT man for the SHABBAT (Mrk.2:27);

 1/ THE LORD (YaHuWaH) instituted HIS Calendar from the First PASSOVER (Ex.12:2), which did Not end at the PASSOVER when Christ Officiated the New Covenant (socially called Easter: see note below), Nor at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was Given to the Household of Faith, in Commemoration of The Law being Given to Moses.
 2/ While NO man is to JUDGE us in these matters (Rom.14:5,6), YaHuWaH HALLOWED HIS SHABBAT (Is.58:13,14) with a COMMANDMENT (Ex.20:8-11; the LONGEST Commandment). We can safely Assume HE did so for a REASON; thus, Without getting Legalistic, nor religious (sanctimonious) let us attempt to understand the SPIRIT of the matter, since somehow western theology has been FAILING to SEE the CONTINUITY of the SACRED SCRIPTURES.
 3/ Think not that I am come to Destroy The Law, or the Prophets: I am Not come to Destroy, but to Fulfil (make Manifest, Alive #4137). For verily I say unto you, Till Heaven and Earth Pass, Not one Jot or one Tittle shall Pass (Perish, be neglected #3928) from The Law, till All be Fulfilled (Not limited to the Prophecies pertaining to Himself). Whosoever therefore shall Break one of these Least COMMANDMENTS, and shall Teach men so, he shall be Called the Least in the Kingdom ofHeaven (the author doubts this to be a part of the Translation: Matt.7:21-27): but whosoever shall Do(Jms.1:22) and Teach (Jms.125) them, the same shall be called Great in the Kingdom of Heaven. For I say unto you, That except your Righteousness (Not spelled Self) shall Exceed the Righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees (called: self), ye shall in No Case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt.5:17-20).
 4/ While Chr-stianity (socially so called: Acts 11:26; Jhn.8:31-36) was made State Religion in between 363 -> 538 C.E. when Rome became The Religion of the land (almost like uncle sam in this country), and effectually  "CHANGED the TIMES and THE LAWS" (Dan.7:25; Courtesy of Jim Pinkowski, "The Prophecies of Daniel and the Revelations") to try to accommodate the pagan Cults they were trying to Assimilate (to end up assimilated thereby), does NOT mean we are to "GET LOST" in the "DOCTRINES of men" (Matt.15:8,9).
 5/ The Scriptures are based on the Abra-hr-amic Covenant (the "hr" is supposed to be the Lordís incertion of His Unvowelized Name into the name Abram; courtesy of Robert Steel) into which We have Become Heir by Faith in YaHshua (Gal.3:29) and in the DISPENSATION of the FULLNESS of TIMES (Eph.1:10) we would be prudent to SEPARATE Ourselves (2Cor.6:14-18; Rom.12:2; 1Pet.2:11)  from all forms of BABYLONIAN (1Pet.5:13; Rev.17:2-4; 18:3) Religion (idolatry) to "KEEP ourselves In the LOVE of YaHuWaHShua" (Jude v.21;  YahShua: YaHuWaH, shua: Saves), Joshua, # 3091, see #1954, 3442).

I The SHABBAT.

         The SHABBAT is a Sign of THE COVENANT between YaHuWaH and HIS People (Ex.19:1-6; 20:8-11; 31:16,17; Ezk.20:20). As with ALL HOLY DAYS, The SHABBAT commemorates the Greatness of YaHuWaH in divers manifestation. The SHABBAT is in commemoration of the Seventh Day of Creation in which YaHuWaH Rested (Gen,2:2,3).
       The first record of the officiation of the SHABBAT in Exodus 16:21-27: Morning by morning they gathered it, as much as each needed; but when the sun grew hot, it melted. On the sixth day they gathered twice as much food, two omers apiece. When all the leaders of the congregation came and told Moses, he said to them, This is what YaHuWaH has commanded: Tomorrow is a day of SOLEMN (Joyful #2287) REST, a HOLY SHABBAT to YaHuWaH; bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil, and all that is left over put aside to be kept until morning. So they put it aside until morning, as Moses commanded them; and it did not become foul, and there were no worms in it. Moses said, Eat it today, for today is a SHABBAT to YaHuWaH; today you will not find "any" in the field. Six days you shall gather "food"; but on the SEVENTH day, which is a SHABBAT, there will be None. On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather, and they found None. Therefore: Remember the SHABBAT DAY, to keep it HOLY... For in six days YaHuWaH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and Rested the seventh day: wherefore YaHuWaH BLESSED the SHABBAT DAY, and HALLOWED it (Ex.20:8-11; Re.: Ex.34:21; Deut.5:13,14).

      Six days shall work be done; but the seventh day is a SHABBATS of REST, a HOLY CONVOCATION; you shall do NO WORK: "This" is a SHABBATS to YaHuWaH throughout your settlements (Lev.23:3; Re.: Lev.19:3; Luke 13:14-16). Speak to all the congregation of the people of Yisrael and say to them: You shall be HOLY, for I, YaHuWaH Adonay (The Lord your G-d) am HOLY. You shall each Revere your mother and father, and you shall keep MY SHABBATS: I am YaHWeH Adonay (Lev.19:2,3; The Lord your G-D). Ye shall keep MY SHABBATS, and Reverence MY SANCTUARY: I AM YaHuWaH. IF ye Walk in My Statutes, and Keep (Jhn.8:31,32) MY COMMANDMENTS, and DO (Jms.1:22) them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.  And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and Dwell in your land Safely. And I will give PEACE in the land, and ye shall lie down, and None shall make you Afraid: and I will Rid Evil Beasts Out of the Land, neither shall the Sword go through your land (Lev.26:2-6; Re.: Is.56:2-7).

     Therefore: "We will not give our daughters to the peoples of the land or take their daughters for our sons; and if the peoples of the land bring in merchandise or any grain on the SHABBAT day to sell, we will not buy "any" from them on the SHABBAT or on a HOLY DAY; and we will Forego the crops of the Seventh Year and the exaction of every debt (Neh.10:30,31; Neh.13:16-19).

     But the house of Yisrael (Broad Picture: Eph.2:12; Gal.3:29; 6:16) Rebelled against Me in the wilderness; they did NOT observe My Statutes but rejected MY Ordinances, by whose Observance everyone shall Live; and MY SHABBATS they greatly PROFANED. Then I thought I would pour out my wrath upon them in the wilderness, to make an end of them. But I acted for the sake of MY NAME (Ps.138:2), so that  I should Not be PROFANED in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out. Moreover I Swore to them in the wilderness that I would NOT bring them into the land that I had given them, a land flowing with Milk and Honey, the most glorious of all lands, because they Rejected My Ordinances and did Not observe My Statutes, and  PROFANED MY SHABBATS; for their Heart went after their IDOLS(Ezk.20:13-16).

     Her Priests have VIOLATED My Law, and have PROFANED MINE HOLY Things: they have put NO DIFFERENCE between the HOLY and PROFANE(Ezk.44:23), neither have they shown Difference between the Unclean and the Clean, and have HID their Eyes from MY SHABBATS (Dan.7:25), and I AM PROFANED among them (Ezk.22:26) For they have committed Adultery (Rev.17:2-4; 18:3; 2:20), and Blood is on their hands; with their IDOLS they have committed Adultery; and they have even Offered up to them for Food, the Children whom they had Borne to Me. Moreover this they have done to ME: they have Defiled MY SANCTUARY on the same day and PROFANED MY SHABBATS (Ezk.23:37,38).

       Ye know that after two days is the Feast of the PASSOVER, and the Son of man is Betrayed to be Crucified.
      Now the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread the Disciples came to YaHshua, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the PASSOVER? And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will KEEP the PASSOVER at thy house with my Disciples (Acts 11:26; Jhn.8:31,32). And the Disciples did as YaHshua had appointed them; and they made ready the PASSOVER (Matt. 26:2,17-19).

      And the FIRST DAY of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the PASSOVER, His Disciples said unto Him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the PASSOVER? And He sendeth forth two of His Disciples, and saith unto them, Go yeinto the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him. And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the PASSOVER with My Disciples? And he will show you a large Upper Room furnishedand Prepared: there make ready for us. And His Disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as He had said unto them: and they made Ready the PASSOVER (Mrk.14:12-16; Luke 22:11-15).

     When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha. And "this" was the Preparation of the PASSOVER, and about the Sixth Hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar. Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be Crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away (Jhn.19:13-16; Jhn.18:38-39).

     When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. The Jews therefore, because "this" was the Preparation,that the bodies should Not Remain upon the Cross on the SHABBAT DAY, for that SHABBAT day was an HIGH DAY (The First Holy Convocation of major Feasts, there being another High SHABBAT at the end of the week of Feast), besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was Crucified with Him.
       But when they came to YaHshua, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out Blood and Water. And he that saw "this" bare record, and His record is TRUE: and He KNOWETH that He saith TRUE, that ye might BELIEVE. For these things were done, that the SCRIPTURE should be FULFILLED, A Bone of Him shall Not be Broken. And again another SCRIPTURE saith, They shall look on Him Whom they Pierced.
       And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a Disciple of YaHshua, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of YaHshua: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of YaHshua. And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to YaHshua by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.
       Then took they the body of YaHshua, and wound "Him" in linen clothes with the Spices, as the manner of the Jews is to Bury. Now in the place where He was Crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid. There laid they YaHshua therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand.
      The FIRST DAY of the WEEK cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the Stone taken Awayfrom the sepulchre:

         In the End of the SHABBAT, as it began to DAWN toward the FIRST DAY (Dawn of "Sunday") of the WEEK, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre (Matt. 28:1). Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other Disciple, whom  Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid Him. Peter therefore went forth, and that other Disciple, and came to the sepulchre. So they ran both together: and the other Disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, And the napkin, that was about His head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself (Jhn.19:30 -> 20:7).

       Given the Sunday Sabbath as being based on the DAY of the RESURRECTION of Christ, remembering, non the less, that the Traditional day goes from Sunset to Sunset, the SCRIPTURES do make plain the FACTS on the matter: We know from this that the SHABBAT is over, and the Resurrection is at DAWN of the FIRST DAY of the WEEK (Not of the Last), and thus the SHABBAT is still SATURDAY.
      Though this ought Not have to be an issue of Contention since the Jews have, for the last 3500 years, celebrated the SHABBAT on what is "western Civilisation's" SATURDAY. This is also inferred in our own calendar, wherein SATURDAY is the LAST DAY of the week; it is actually no surprise, in this once Judeo-Christian nation, that we were given two SHABBATS: Saturday and Sunday.
     Western theology usually bases their Day of Worship on the Day of the Resurrection of Christ (a Complimentary Touch (1Cor.11:23,24), but (Matt.15:8,9) Not necessarily in SOUND DOCTRINE), instituting Their Own sabbath (Dan.7:25; Hos.2:11) on Sunday, thus the world does their worship, if they really understand THE SPIRIT of SHABBAT (Is.58:13,14), on the "Day of Collection"(Matt.6:24 ?).

       Now concerning the COLLECTION for the saints, as I have given Order to the churches of Galatia, even so DO ye. Upon the FIRST DAY of the WEEK let every one of you lay by him in store, as Adonay hath Prospered him, that there be No Gatherings when I come (1Cor.16:1,2).

      Ye shall Keep THE SHABBAT therefore; for it is HOLY unto you: every one that Defiles it shall surely be Put to Death: for whosoever does any Work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people (Ex.31:14; Re.: Ex.35:2; Lev.26:38-43).

       Under Grace we are reminded: And he said unto them, The SHABBAT was made for man, and Not man for The SHABBAT (Mrk.2:27). But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because YaHuaHShua had cured on The SHABBAT, kept saying to the crowd, There are six days on which work ought to be done; come on those days and be cured, and not on the SHABBAT day. But the Lord answered him and said, You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the SHABBAT untie his ox or his donkey from the manger, and lead it away to give it water? And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be set Free from this bondage on The SHABBAT day (Luke 13:14-16).

      The important issue is having One Day (Rom.14:5,6)  set aside For YaHuWaH:

        If thou turn away thy foot "for" the SHABBAT(if, on account of the Shabbat, you turn away your foot), from doing thy pleasure on My HOLY DAY; and call The SHABBAT a Delight, the HOLY DAY of THE LORD, Honorable; and shalt Honor Him, NOT Doing Thine Own Ways, NOR finding Thine Own Pleasure, NOR Speaking Thine Own Words: Then shalt thou delight Thyself in YaHuWaH (THE WORD); and I will cause thee to Ride upon the High Places of the earth, and feed thee with the Heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of YaHuWaH hath spoken (Is.58:13,14; Re.: Ps.27:4; 42:4; 84:2-10; Is.55:8-11; Ezk44:23,24). Blessed is the man who Does this, the one who Holds it fast, who KEEPS the SHABBAT, Not PROFANING it, and REFRAINS from DOING any EVIL.
      Do not let the foreigner joined to YaHuWaH say, YaHuWaH will surely separate me from his peopleî; and do not let the eunuch say, I am just a Dry tree. For thus says YaHuWaH: To the eunuchs who keep MY SHABBAT, who choose the things that Please Me and hold fast My Covenant (1Jhn.5:1-5), I will give, in My house and within My walls, a monument and a Name Better than Sons and Daughters; I will give them an EVERLASTING NAME (Rev. 2:17) that shall Not be cut off.
     And the foreigners who join themselves to YaHuWaH, to Minister to Him, To Love The Name Of THE LORD, and to be His Servants, all who KEEP the SHABBAT, and Do Not PROFANE it, and Hold Fast My Covenant these I will bring to My HOLY MOUNTAIN, and make them joyful in MY HOUSE Of PRAYER; their Burnt Offerings and their Sacrifices will be Accepted on My Altar; for my house shall be called a HOUSE Of PRAYER For All PEOPLES (Is.56:2-7; NRSV;  Matt.21:13; Mrk.11:17; Nmb.28:9,10; Ezk.46:4).

       YaHuWaH often refers to HIS SHABBATS as a particular Possession of His, and one could Reason that He raises the issue because humen have a way of Re-writing everything to Suit Themselves; and it is quite probable that the BABBLE-ON-IAN Re-write of a Sunday Sabbath, could well be a part of PROFANING HIS HOLY DAY.
     No matter my prejudices I was nevertheless made aware of:  "I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts" (Hosea 2:11) that was a serious monkey wrench in my evaluation of the issue, unti I realized HE is Not talking about HIS (Possession) but "hers" man made inventions (Thank You David Allen FOR THE CONFIRMATION: www.rev.18-4.org). There can also be a double contextual (whom does it applies to) and prophetic (the minor prophets all addrssed this time in history) application, the decision in this house, is to observe the SATURDAY SABBATH.
     There is also a Prophetic application to the issue, which also confirms the HOLY CALENDAR has Not Been Done Away with:

          "PRAY that your Flight may Not be in winter or on a SHABBAT.  For at that Time there will be Great TRIBULATION, such as has Not been from the Beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been CUT SHORT, would  No Flesh be SAVED; but for the sake of the ELECT those days will be CUT SHORT (Matt.24:20-22).

          And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one SHABBAT to another, shall all flesh come to WORSHIP before Me, saith YaHuWaH" (Is.66:23).

The Months of the Year:

      The Christ also Specified that He is to be Commemorated in "THE LORD'S SUPPER" EVERY TIME we BREAK BREAD (1Cor.10:14-17; 11:23-34; Matt.26:26-28; Mrk.14:22-24; Luke 22:17-20),

for Through Him we are BURIED unto SIN, and ALIVE unto YaHuWaH (Rom.6:1-7):

     He did NOT make ay provisions for the "CHANGING of  THE TIMES and THE LAWS" (Dan.7:24,25; courtesy of: J.Pinkowski) by changing the Calendar; but Commentaries on the Calendar published by "The Sacred Name Broadcaster" reveal some interesting points on what we loosely call Calendar.

 January: a month corresponding to Tebeth and Shebat (the 10th & 11th months) in the
      Sacred Calendar (Exod. 12:1-3), is named for Janus, the Roman mighty one of
      Portals, and patron of beginnings and endings (a little presumptuous), to whom
      the month is sacred; he is shown having 2 heads, one in front, the other at the
      back of his head symbolizing his powers.

 February: a month corresponding to Shebat and Adar (the 11th & 12th months), is derived
      from Februa, a Roman Pagan festival of purification, it was originally a month of
      expiation (Rom.3:25; 5:11; 1Jhn.2:2; 1Jhn.4:10).

 March: a month corresponding to Adar and Abib or Nisan (the 12th and the 1st months), is
      named for Mars,the roman mighty one for war; this was the month when preparations
      were made for the wars of summer.
           The Lord had early established a 30 day calendar (Gen.7:11,24; Gen.8:3-5,
      personal note), that was counted by the ìNew Moonsî in the Sacred Calendar, only
      since the lunar month is 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes, and 2.6 seconds, it falls short
      of the 30 Day Month. Therefore to compensate, every second or third year (7 times in
      19 years) an extra month is added (Veadar in theKJV, and NKJV) Adar Aleph and
      Adar Beth, the First Adar and the Second Adar.1997 is reported to have been a Leap Year.

 April: a month corresponding to Abib or Nisan (the Sacred New Year) and Iyar or Ziv
       (the 1st & 2nd months), Comes from the latin Aprilis, indicating a time of fertility.
       It was believed in month the earth is supposed to open up for plants to grow.
      The social Festivity called Easter, which is actually a celebration to
      the canaanite goddess Asherah who is probably also referred to as the "queen
      nothing more than a Glorified Fertility Rite (as symbolized by one of the two most
      Prolific animals on earth the Rabbit, and the Rat, one wonders why they didnít
      choose the latter (personal humor; it is also probably no coincidence that most
      weddings are in June); not that it matters now that Planned Sterility
      (Contraception) has taken over the mindset of the populace: Gen.13 -> 19), is again
      merely Separating us from the Reality of our G-d Given Life; and the time has come
      to put YaHuWaH back into The Church, and Christ YaHShua back ON The Throne.
      His death is Our Salvation, and His Resurrection is the Proof of His Truth, The
      Faith ought Not be treated with Levity, even if they can allow themselves inserts to
      Scriptures to make their humanism look Religious: "And when he had apprehended him,
      he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him;
      intending after Easter (Passover) to bring him forth to the people" (Acts 12:4).

 May: a month corresponding to Iyar or Ziv and Sivan (2nd & 3rd months), was named after
      Maia, the Pagan Roman female mighty one of growth or increase.

 June: a month corresponding to Sivan and Tammuz (3rd & 4th months), is sometimes
      attributed to Juno, the female mighty one of marriage (it does take about that long
      to be sure one is expecting), wife of Jupiter in roman mythology. She was also called
      the "queen of heaven" and "queen of mighty ones." The name is also attributed to
      Junius Brutus, but probably refers to the month wherein crops grow to ripeness.

 July: a month corresponding to Tammuz and Av or Ab (4th & 5th months), named for Julius
      Ceasar, that is the seventh month of the Gregorian calendar.

 August: a month corresponding to Ab and Elul (5th &6th months), named for Octavius
      Augustus Ceasar, emperor of rome; the name was originally from ìaugereî which is
      to increase. This is the month wherein both Jerusalem, and the Temple were destroyed.

 September: a month corresponding to Elul and Ethanim or Tishri  (6th & 7th months),
      seventh month of  the Roman calendar, is derived from the latin ìseptemî meaning 7.

 October: a month corresponding to Ethanim and Bul or Heshvan (7th & 8th months), eigth
      month of the Roman calendar, come from the latin ìoctoî meaning 8; this is the 10th
      month of the Gregorian calendar.

 November:  a month corresponding to Bul and Chislev (Chesliu) or Kislev (8th & 9th months),
      derived from the latin ìnovemî meaning 9 (9th month of Roman calendar), 11th month
      of the Gregorian calendar.

 December: a month corresponding to Chislev and Tebeth (10th & 11th months), from the
      latin ìdecemî meaning 10.

          Hear ye THE WORD which YaHuWaH speaketh unto you, O house of Yisrael:
 Thus saith YaHuWaH, LEARN NOT the Way of the Heathen (Matt.6:7), and be Not Dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the Heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are Vain: for one cutteth a Tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They Deck It with Silver and with Gold; they fasten it with Nails and with hammers, that it Move Not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be Not afraid of them; for they Cannot do Evil, Neither also is it in them to  Do Good.
          Forasmuch as there is NONE Like unto THEE, O YaHuWaH; THOU art GREAT, and THY NAME is GREAT in Might (Ps.138:2). Who would Not fear Thee, O King of nations? for to Thee doth there is None like unto Thee. But they are altogether BRUTISH and FOOLISH: the stock is a DOCTRINE of VANITIES (Jer.10:1-8).

II Passover, and the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

 The Feast of PASSOVER and UNLEAVENED BREAD, was the Commemoration of the Hand of YaHuWaH LIBERATING His People from their Bondage to Slavery in Egypt, just as The Christ OUR PASSOVER (1Cor:5:7) is Our Liberator from our Bondage to The SLAVERY of SIN. There is a definite Continuity to the Sacred SCRIPTURES.

      And YaHuWaH spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,  This month shall be unto you the BEGINNING OF MONTHS: it shall be the FIRST MONTH of the year to you ("Nisan"). Speak ye unto all the congregation of Yisrael, saying, In the TENTH DAY of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: And ye shall keep it up until the FOURTEENTH DAY of the same month: and the Whole Assembly of the Congregation of Yisrael shall kill it in the evening... And this day shall be unto you for a MEMORIAL; and ye shall Keep it a feast to YaHuWaH throughout your generations; ye shall Keep it a FEAST by an Ordinance FOR EVER. (Ex.12:1-6,14). In the Fourteenth Day of Nisan at twilight is YaHuWaH'sPASSOVER (Lev.23:5). And this day shall be unto you for a MEMORIAL; and ye shall Keep "THE PASSOVER" a FEAST to THE LORD Throughout Your Generations; ye shall the FEAST by an EVERLASTING ORDINANCE (Ex.12:14; NKJV. RE.: Lev.23:4,5; Nmb.9:6-12; 2Chr.30:2-4).

      You shall observe the festival of UNLEAVENED BREAD, for on this very day I brought your companies Out of the land of Egypt: you shall observe this day Throughout your Generations as an EVERLASTING ORDINANCE (Ex.12:17; Re.: Ex.13:6,7; 34:18). Seven Days you shall eat Unleavened Bread; on the First day you shall REMOVE LEAVEN from your Houses (there is a Parallel to be drawn with what we are to do in Christ; and He in us: 1Cor.5:6-8) for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day shall be cut off from Yisrael. On the FIRST DAY you shall hold a Solemn Assembly (a feast, a festival by implication: to be giddy, to celbrate, to dance, to reel to and fro: the new covenant ch-rch would say: to be Drunk in The Spirit #2287, Joyfull assemblage to the Lord #4150, 6116, 2287), and on the Seventh day a Solemn Assembly; NO WORK shall be done on those Days; only what everyone must eat, that alone may be prepared by you (Ex.12:15,16; NRSV: Ex 23:15; Lev.23:6-8; Nmb.9:1-5; 28:16-25; Deut.16:3,4).

     Before too much DEBATE (1Tim.6:5,6) over what is "Under The LAW" is allowed to Rear itís Ugly Head (Rom. 8:3,4 -> 3:31; Gal.5:18), let us Not Confuse (1Cor.14:33) WISDOM with LAW, nor the Calendar with Law, nor DEFINITIONS with Law, Not that All donít Contain a FORM OF LAW (so that Self can PRESUME to be Law). Let us Note there is No Coincidence that YaHshua, as the Atoning Lamb (John 1:29,36; 1Pet.1:18,19) was Murdered on PASSOVER (Matt.26:2; Mrk.14:1,2; Jhn.18:28,29; 19:14); and the Holy Spirit was given on Pentecost.

     Purge out (Clean Out) therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a New Lump, as ye are Unleavened. For even CHRIST our PASSOVER is SACRIFICED for US: Therefore let us Keep the FEAST, Not with Old Leaven, neither with the Leaven of Malice and Wickedness; but with the LAW BREAD of SINCERITY and TRUTH(1Cor.5:7,8; Re.: Ex.12:19; 13:7; Deut.16:3; Is.53:7; Acts 20:28; Jhn.14:6; 17:17).

III The Feast of Firstfruit.

     And YaHuWaH spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Yisrael, and say unto them, When ye be Come into the Land which I give unto you,and shall reap the harvest thereof , then ye shall bring a SHEAF of the FIRSTFRUITS of your harvest unto the Priest (the Binding of the Barley): And he shall wave the SHEAF before YaHuWaH, to be accepted for you: on the morrow After the SHABBAT (the SHABBAT after Passover) the Priest shall wave it. You shall eat No bread or parched grain or fresh ears until that very day,Until you have Brought the Offering of your Adonay: it is a Statute FOREVER throughout your generations In ALL your Settlements (Lev.23:9-11,14. NRSV).  Also in the DAY of the FIRSTFRUITS, when ye bring a New meat offering unto THE LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an HOLY CONVOCATION; ye shall DO No SERVILE WORK (Nmb.28:26; Jms.1:18).
 

IV The Feast of Pentecost.

       And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the SHABBAT, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; Seven SHABBATS shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the Seventh SHABBAT shall ye number Fifty Days; and ye shall offer a New meat offering unto YaHuWaH. Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the FIRSTFRUITS (of the Wheat Harvest:) unto YaHuWaH. And the Priest shall Wave them with the bread of the FIRSTFRUITS for a Wave Offering before YaHuWaH, with the two lambs: they shall be Holy to YaHuWaH for the priest. And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an Holy Convocation unto you: ye shall do No Servile Work therein: it shall be a Statute FOR EVER in All your Dwellings throughout your Generations (Lev.23:15-17, 20,21). Then you shall keep the Feast of weeks for YaHuWaH Adonay, contributing a Freewill Offering in proportion to the Blessing that you have Received from YHWH Adonay (THE LORD YOUR G-D).
      Rejoice before YaHuWaH Adonay, you and your sons and your daughters, your male and female slaves, the Levites resident in your towns, as well as the strangers, the orphans, and the widows who are among you, at THE PLACE that YaHuWaH Adonay Will CHOOSE as a Dwelling for HIS NAME (Ps.138:2). Remember that you were Slaves in Egypt (Slaves to Sin in Babylon), and Diligently Observe these Statutes (Deut.16:10-12).

       Also called the Feast of Harvest, and the Feast of Weeks concludes the Wheat Harvest, and institutes the Principle of Tithes, when the loaves of the FIRSTFRUITof the New Grain is offered at The Altar: Celebrate the FEAST of WEEKS with the FIRSTFRUITSof the wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the turn of the year (Ex.34:22).

      Thou shalt not delay to offer the FIRST of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto Me (Ex.22:29). And all the TITHE of the land,whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, Is Adonay's: it is HOLY unto YaHuWaH. And concerning the TITHE of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passes under the rod, THE TENTH shall be HOLY unto YaHuWaH (Lev.27:30,32).

       The FIRST of the FIRSTFRUITS (Ex.23:19) of thy land thou shalt bring into THE HOUSE of YaHuWaH Adonay (Re.: Ex.34:26). Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his motherís milk. Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to KEEP thee in "THE WAY" (Jhn.14:6, Jer.6:16; Matt.11:28-30), and to Bring thee into THE PLACE which I have PREPARED (Ex.23:29,30).

      In the "Book of Jubilee" The Feast is also the Commemoration of the RENEWING of the COVENANT Given to Moses (courtesy of the Interpreterís Dictionary of the Bible), as The Holy Spirit was Given to The HOUSEHOLD of FAITH (Acts 2:1;20:16; 1Cor.16:8) at PENTECOST as a COVENANT RENEWALand Confirmation (Joel 2:28,29,32), in which we are a FIRSTFRUITSto the Father (Jms.1:18; Rom.8:23; Heb.12:23;Jer.2:3; Ex.4:22). This is an intrinsically Chr-stian Celebration, a FEASTof Special Sanctity in which Yisrael (Eph.2:12;Gal.6:16; Eph.5:25-27) is called to Recognize the SOVEREIGNTY of ADONAY, as the Source of Rain (The Word: Deut.11:14; Hos.6:3) and agricultural fertility (Understanding the Word: 2Cor.9:10; Jer.5:24); and as The King of the Harvest (Matt.13:37-43). This is the beginning of the season of Voluntary gifts to YaHuWaH, ending at The Feast of Tabernacles (Deut.16:8).

V The Feast of Trumpets, ROSH HASHANAH, the 7th New Moon.

      Not coincidentally the Feast of the 7th New Moon, Tishri can be called a SABBATICAL Month; there being More Feasts in this month than any other, demonstrating the Sacredness of the number 7, and YaHuWaH's various cycles of 7 (Larkinís: 490 cycles in the Old Testament):

  1/ Shabbat: 7th Day,
  2/ Pentecost: 7th Week,
  3/ Feast of Trumpets: 7th month,
  4/ Land Sabbath: 7th year, the year of Release (Lev.25:1-7, 18-22),
  5/ Year of Jubilee: 7x 7th year (Lev.25:8-17).

      Also in the day of your gladness, and in your Solemn Days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the Sho-Phar (trumpets) over your Burnt Offerings, and over the Sacrifices of your Peace Offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your Adown: I AM YaHuWaHAdonay (Nmb.10:10).

      Speak unto the children of Yisrael, saying, In the SEVENTH MONTH, in the First Day of the month, shall ye have a SHABBAT, a Memorial of Blowing of Trumpets, an HOLY CONVOCATION. Ye shall Do No Servile Work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YaHuWaH (Lev.23:24,25). And in the SEVENTH MONTH, on the First day of the month, ye shall have an HOLY CONVOCATION; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the Sho-Phar unto you î (Nmb.29:1).

     This celebration includes  the Morning chanting of Psalms 81, and an Evening singing of Psalm 29; introducing the Preparation for YOM KIPPUR. This along with other New Moons (though greater than both the DAILY and SABBATICAL offering: Nmb.28:1-10) is to Commemorate the setting up of The Tabernacle, Symbolic of the ETERNAL COVENANT and of the FAITHFULNESS of YaHuWaH who instituted them:

     On the FIRST DAY of the FIRST MONTH shalt thou set up The Tabernacle of the TENT   of the CONGREGATION (Ex.40:2). Thus did Moses: according to all that YaHuWaH commanded him,  so did he. And it came to pass in the FIRST MONTH in the SECOND YEAR, on the FIRST DAY of the   month, that The Tabernacle was reared up (Ex.40:16,17).

VI The Day of Atonement: "YOM KIPPUR."

      And YaHuWaH spake unto Moses, saying, Also on the Tenth day of this Seventh month there shall be a DAY Of ATONEMENT: it shall be an Holy Convocation unto you; and ye shall Afflict your "Nefesh" (souls), and offer an Offering made by Fire unto YaHuWaH. And ye shall do No Work in that same day: for it is a DAY Of ATONEMENT, to make an ATONEMENT for you before YaHuWaHAdonay. For whatsoever soul it be that shall Not be Afflicted in that same day, he shall be Cut Off from among his people (Lev.23:26-29).  It shall be unto you a SHABBAT of REST, and ye shall afflict your Souls: in the Ninth Day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye Celebrate your SHABBAT (Lev.23:32).

     This shall be a Statute to you Forever: In the seventh month, on the TENTH DAY of the month, you shall DENY yourselves (Matt.16:24; the LIFE Of ATONEMENT), and shall do No Work, neither the citizen nor the alien who resides among you,  For on that day shall the Priest (YaHshua) make an Atonement (Heb.10:9,10) for you, to CLEANSE (Eph.5:25-27) you, that ye may be CLEAN from ALL your SINS (Jhn.15:3) before YaHuWaH. It shall be a SHABBAT of REST unto you, and ye shall Afflict your souls, by a Statute For Ever (Lev.16:29-31).

         The DAY Of ATONEMENT is The DAY Of SALVATION, of Reconciliation (Rom.5:11; 2Cor.5:17-21), the DAY Of "AT-ONE-MENT" with Adonay; of coming back to Unity (Jhn.17:21-23; Eph.4:11-13) with YaHuWaH, a DAY of COVERING or PROPITIATION. (Col.3:3; Is.30:1; Zeph.2:1-3) This is Only FAST day proclaimed by Mosaic Law (Acts 27:9: still recognized in New Covenant times), beginning on the evening of the 9th day to the evening of the 10th. As a foreshadowing of YaHuWaH-Shua MESSIAH this is the day in which we come to YaHuWaHAdonay in anticipation of HIS FORGIVENESS. The reason for the Fast is to Humbly petition YaHuWaH with a Contrite Heart to be FORGIVEN and CLEANSEDFROM SIN (Eph.5:25-29; 1Jhn.1:9).

      This is a day of Contriteness for His UNDESERVEDMercy (which we Received in the Sacrifice of His Son (Jhn.3:16) as foreshadowed by Abra-hr-am and Isaac), symbolized by FASTING, no washing, no sandals, no anointing, no sex; a SHABBAT of Sabbatic observance to Ward off the WRATH of Adonay (1Thes.5:9), and Re-enter His DIVINE PROTECTION, for He Inhabits The Temple (1Cor.3:16; 6:19) of The Yisrael of Adonay (Ezk.43:7-9; Eph.2:12; Gal.6:16; 2Cor.6:14-18). The Sprinkling of the BLOOD on the ALTAR is symbolic of the Blood of The Lamb (1Pet.1:18,19), the remains of which were poured into an underground channel that poured out into the Kiddron, and was sold for fertilizer, serving as a reminder that Blood is SACRED and EFFECTUAL (Lev.17:11) by the Action of YaHuWaH (Col.2:12) through the Divine Priestly Institution, which Is His GIFT (Eph.2:7,8) to Yisrael.

      This was the birth of the idea of the SCAPEGOAT, for the CLEANSING of the Lepers (Lev.14:6,7); for the EXPULSION of the Wicked (Zech.5:5; 1Cor.6:9,10), in the Person of the Suffering Christ (Is.53:1-12). After the confession for the people (Dan.9:2-19), and the laying on of hands, the SCAPEGOAT for Azazel (presumably the chief of the fallen angel: Enoch 6:7; 8:1,13) was led out, Jeered by the people, over Kiddron, into the wilderness to the edge of a cliff, where a rock was tied around its neck by a red thread, and dropped off the cliff (hence the Scapegoat connotes complete Removal Beyond the Inhabited world: Ps.103:12, The Christ the END of sin), and a Red Thread at the Sanctuary door Turned White at the same time the goat went over, signifying the CLEANSING of SIN (Barn.7:8; Yoma 6:4-8; Is.1:18,19), the ceremony ending with the reading of Psalm 103:12. Two days a year were set aside for he CLEANSING of the Temple (Heart), PASSOVER and the DAY OF ATONEMENT. The Sacrificial offering (guilt & sin) Honor the Holiness of YaHuWaH the mood for which is set during the seven days of Preparation for the Fast (Ezk. ch.40-48).

      One week before YOM KIPPUR, the priest would separate themselves from family life to live in Temple Apartments, with a lite meal the night before. YOM KIPPUR begins with an ALL NIGHT VIGIL of WEEPING and PRAYER while the younger priests Read The Law; the have a morning bath before putting on the ceremonial garb; they then attended to the burnt offerings (Nmb.29:8-11), to then change to the WHITE LINEN ROBES of PENITENCE (Lev.16:4; 16:12-14; Ex.30:20; Ex.25:13,14). The CHRIST is the FINALITY of THE DAY OF ATONEMENT, the Scapegoat who Replaced Isaac, and Who ALONE, ONCE And For ALL (Heb.10:4) ATONED for the SINS of ALL MANKIND (study notes from the Interpreter's Dictionary of the Bible).

VII The Feast of Tabernacles, or Feast of Booths.

       From the word to "WEAVE TOGETHER," this refers to the plaited Branches weaved together covering the booths  (symbolic of the Marriage (Union: Eph.4:11-13; 5:22-29; Rev.19:7,8) Of The Lamb, In The COVERING of HIS SPIRIT: COL.3:3; Zeph.2:1-3; Is.30:1), as a reminder of those that were made during the wilderness experience when Yisrael was being Humbled before YaHuWaH. This is the Original PILGRIMAGE FEAST, the ìFeast of The Lord at Silohî (Lev.23:39; Jdgs.21:19), among the three Required Pilgrimages (Deut.16:16), with Prophetic implication for times to come (Is.2:2-4; Is.56:6-8; Zech.14:16-19), further confirming that the Calendar YaHuWaH Established was NEVER CHANGED (Heb.13:8). As The Feast of Tabernacles, this is a COVENANT RENEWAL FEAST (2Chr.8:13; Lev.23:34); also known as the Feast of Ingathering this celebrates the end of the agricultural year (Ex.23:16; 34:22); and The Feast  (1Kngs.8:2,65; 2Chr.7:8; Neh.8:14; Is.30:29; Ezk.45:23-25).

 The Feast of Tabernacles included three daily rites:

  1/ Vintage dances (Jdgs.21:21),
  2/ Daily singing of the Hallel (Psalms 113->118), with waving of the Festal Lulab (plumes of palm), in
        the  opening of Ps.118; especially at the Cry or Salvation at v.25, from which comes "Hoshanah
        Rabbah."
  3/ Water libation rites on the first day, where the Priests would draw enough water for a week from the
        pool of Siloam and brought up with solemnity and the blowing of up to 120 Trumpets "Sho-Phars".
  4/ The nightly rites consists of the reading of Psalms120->134, and festal dinners late into the night
        (Is.30:29).
  5/ The dawn ritual consists of rising and facing West rather than east like their forefathers, with the
        prayer "Our eyes are turned towards THE LORD" (Ezk.8:16; Suk.5:4).
  6/ The 9th day is the "Simhath Torah" (the Joy of The Law), to transfer the focus from the landís
         abundance to THE LORD's BOUNTIFULNESS .

         And thou shalt remember that you were a BONDMEN in Egypt: and thou shalt Observe and Do (Jms.1:22-25) these Statutes. Thou shalt Observe the FEAST Of TABERNACLES seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine: And thou shalt Rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.
      Seven days shalt thou keep a SOLEMN FEAST unto YaHWeH Adonay in the place which YaHuWaH shall Choose (Jhn.4:22-24): because YaHWeH Adonay shall Bless thee in all thine Increase, and in all the Works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely Rejoice (Deut.16:12-15).

      And YaHuWaH, Himself does Go Before thee; he will be with thee, he will Not Fail thee, neither Forsake thee: Fear Not, neither be Dismayed. And Moses wrote this Law, and delivered it unto the Priests the sons of Levi, which bare the Ark Of The Covenant of YaHuWaH, and unto all the elders of Yisrael.
     And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of every seven years, in the SOLEMNITY of the year of release, in THE FEAST Of TABERNACLES, When All Yisrael is Come to appear Before YaHWeH Adonay in the Place which He shall Choose, thou shalt Read This LAW Before All Yisrael in their HEARING. Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may HEAR, and that they may LEARN, And FEAR YaHWeH Adonay, and OBSERVE To DO all the WORDS of This LAW: And that their children, who have Not Known any thing, may HEAR, and LEARN to FEAR (Reverence) YaHWeH Adonay, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it (Deut.31:8-13).

      And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came Against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to Worship the King, The LORD of Hosts, and to Keep The FEAST Of TABERNACLES. And it shall be, that whoso will Not come up of all the families of the earth unto JERUSALEM to WORSHIP the King, the LORD of Hosts, even upon them shall be No Rain.
 And if the family of Egypt go Not up, and come Not, that have No Rain; there shall be the Plague, wherewith THE LORD will smite the Heathen that come Not up to keep THE FEAST Of TABERNACLES. This shall be the Punishment of Egypt, and the Punishment of All Nations that come Not up to keep The FEAST Of TABERNACLES. In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO YaHuWaH; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar (Zech.14:16-20).

     And it shall come to pass in the LAST DAYS, that the mountain of THE HOUSE of YaHuWaH shall be ESTABLISHED in the TOP of the MOUNTAINS, and shall be EXALTED above the hills; and All nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the MOUNTAIN of YaHuWaH, to THE HOUSE of the Adonay of Jacob; and He will TEACH us of HIS WAYS, and We will WALK in HIS PATHS: for out of Zion shall go forth THE LAW, and THE WORD of YaHuWaH from Jerusalem. And He shall JUDGE among the nations, and shall REBUKE many people: and they shall Beat their Swords into Plowshares, and their Spears into Pruninghooks: nation shall Not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall They Learn War Any More. O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us WALK in the LIGHT of YaHuWaH.
     Therefore Thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be Replenished from the East, and are Soothsayers like the Philistines (Rev.18:23), and they Please Themselves in the Children of strangers. Their land also is Full of Silver and Gold (sound Familiar?), neither is there any End of their Treasures; their land is also Full of Horses, neither is there any End of their Chariots: Their land also is full of Idols; they Worship the Work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made: And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbles himself: therefore forgive them not. Enter into the rock (Rev.6:16), and hide thee in the dust, for Fear of YaHuWaH, and for THE GLORY OF HIS MAJESTY (Is.2:2-10; Re.: Is.56:5-8).

     The understated part of the Prophetic Application is the Millennium, and the Millennial Reign of Christ, in which The Christ is Returning "To" His Glorious Church (Eph.5:26,27; Rev.19:7,8; 20:3,4), who as The Yisrael of Adonay (Gal.6:16), will Be the "Nation Of Priests" (Ex.19:1-6; Rev.1:5,6), that we are "Called"  OUT  of the world to be (1Pet.2:7-9), during which the Elect (Matt.24:22) will Reign with Christ for 1000 years (Rev.5:10).

VIII The Feast of Dedication:  "Hanukhah."

     Hanukhah is associated with the CLEANSING of THE TEMPLE by Hezekiah (2Chr.29:17; Jhn.10:22,23; Acts 3:11;5:12). Known as the FEAST OF LIGHTS, the Feast begins on the 25th of Chislev (9th month), and lasts 8 days. This Feast is also associated with the Victory of Judas Maccabeus and the ensuing PURIFICATION and REDEDICATION of the TEMPLE (Macc.4:52-59).
     As the Name implies, the FEAST is for the DEDICATION, CONSECRATION, or SANCTIFICATION of the DEDICATED things to YaHuWaH:

  1/ Nmb.7:10 - of the Offerings,
  2/ 2Chr.7:9 - of the Altar of Solomon's Temple,
  3/ Neh.12:27 - of the walls of Jerusalem,
  4/ Ps.30:1 - of the Temple.

IX The Feast of Purim, or the Feast of Lots.

     This is a Two day Feast on the 14th and 15th of Adar (12th month) to Celebrate the Liberation of Yisrael from Hanan by Ester and Mordecai (Est.7:1- Est.9:32), celebrated with festal meals late into the night of the 14th.

X The Sabbatical Year.

     As the name implies the Sabbatical Years is the Seventh Years Land Rest, in which the land was to lie fallow for a year to let it rest. It was Israel's failure to observe this SHABBAT for 490 years that led to the 70 year Babylonian Captivity as their sentence for their not observing YaHuWaH's Commandment (1 year for each 7 year cycle).

      And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof: But the SEVENTH year thou shalt let it REST and lie still; that the Poor of thy People may Eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard (Ex.23:10,11). Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and SIX years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; But in the SEVENTH year shall be a SHABBAT of REST unto the LAND, a SHABBAT for YaHuWaH: thou shalt Neither sow thy field, Nor prune thy vineyard.
     That which grows of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt NOT reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a YEAR of REST unto the land. And the SHABBAT of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourns with thee, And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat (Lev.25:3-7).  And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the SEVENTH year?
     Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase: Then I will Command My Blessing upon you in the SIXTH year, and it shall bring forth FRUIT FOR THREE YEARS. And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat Yet of Old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the Old Store. The land shall Not be Sold for ever: for the land is Mine; for ye are Strangers and Sojourners With Me (Lev.25:20-23; Re.: Deut.28:8; Lev.26:10; 1Pet.2:11).

     The SABBATICAL YEAR is also the year of Release of Debt, and of the Setting Free of the Slaves:

        "At the end of every SEVEN YEARS thou shalt make a RELEASE. And this is the manner of the Release: Every creditor that lends aught unto his neighbor shall RELEASE it; he shall Not exact it of his neighbor, or of his brother; because it is called YaHuWaH's RELEASE (Deut.23:20; 31:10).
    Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but thatwhich is thine with thy brother thine hand shall RELEASE; Save when there shall be No Poor among you; for YaHuWaH shall GREATLY BLESS thee in the land which YaHWeHAdonay Gives thee for an Inheritance to possess it: Only If thou CAREFULLY HEARKEN unto THE VOICE (THE WORD; Ps.103:20; Joel 2:11; Jhn.1:14) of YaHWeHAdonay, to Observe to Do all these Commandments which I command thee this day. For YaHWeHAdonay blesses thee, as He Promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt Not Borrow; and thou shalt Reign over many nations, but they shall Not Reign over thee.
       If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the YaHWeHAdonay gives thee, thou shalt Not Harden thine Heart, nor Shut thine Hand from thy Poor brother: But thou shalt Open thine Hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him Sufficient for his NEED, in that which he Lacks (wanteth, #2637). Beware that there be Not a thought in thy Wicked Heart, saying, The SEVENTH year, the year of RELEASE, is at hand; and thine eye be Evil Against thy Poor brother, and thou Givest him Nought; and he cry unto YaHuWaH Against thee, and it be Sin unto thee (Deut.15:2-8; Ex.22:23; Matt.20:15; Deut.24:15; Job 34:28; Ps.12:5; Jms.5:4).

      Thou shalt surely Give him, and thine heart shall Not be Grieved when thou Givest unto him: because that for this thing YaHWeH Adonay shall BLESS thee in All thy Works, and in All that thou Puttest thine hand unto. For the Poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I Command thee, saying, Thou shalt Open thine HandWide unto thy brother, to thy Poor, and to thy Needy, in thy land. And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the SEVENTH YEAR thou shalt let him GO FREE from thee (Ex.21:2-6; Lev.25:39-43; Deut.15:12-18; Jer.34:14; Note: These are All Promises!).

     And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt Not let him go away Empty: Thou shalt Furnish him Liberally out of thy Flock, and out of thy Floor, and out of thy Winepress: of that wherewith YaHWeH Adonay hath Blessed thee thou shalt Give unto him. And thou shalt remember that thou wast a Bondman in the land of Egypt, and YaHWeH Adonay Redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing today. And it shall be,if he say unto thee, I will Not go away from thee; because he Loves thee and thine House, because he is Well with thee; Then thou shalt take an awl, and thrust it through his ear unto the door,and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do like wise. It shall Not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hiredservant to thee, in serving thee six years: and YaHWeH Adonay shall Bless thee in All that thou doest (Deut.15:1-19).

XI The Year of Jubilee.

 The word JUBILEE has two meanings:

  1/ Cithrah, #5643: a Covering, a Hiding Place (Is.30:1-14), a Protection ,
  2/ Yobel, #3104: a blast from a horn (Josh.6:5), a continuous sound of a Silver
        Trumpet: or Ramís horn "Sho-Phar."

        And thou shalt number Seven SHABBATS of YEARS unto thee, Seven times Seven years; and the space of the seven SHABBATS of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Then shalt thou cause the TRUMPET Of The JUBILEE  to Sound on the TENTH DAY of the SEVENTH MONTH, in the DAY Of ATONEMENT shall ye make the TRUMPET SOUND throughout all your land.
      And ye shall HALLOW the FIFTIETH year, and proclaim Liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a JUBILEE unto you; and ye shall Return every man unto his Possession, and ye shall Return every man unto his Family. A JUBILEE shall that FIFTIETH year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap thatwhich grows of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. For it is the JUBILEE; it shall be HOLY unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field. In the year of this JUBILEE ye shall return every man unto his possession. And if thou sell aught unto thy neighbor, or buyest aught of thy neighborís hand, ye shall NOT OPPRESS ONE ANOTHER (Lev.25:8-14; Re.: Lev.23:27; ch.25; 27:16-25; Nmb.36:4; Ezk.46:17).

     YaHuWaH-Shua IS Our JUBILEE (Luke 4:18,19; Is.61:1-3; 2Cor.5:17), though the fullness of the Release Given us By Christ cannot be fully understood without understanding the NATURE of the TRADITION oF YaHuWaH, hence when we are Instructed to "Serve YaHuWaH in the NEWNESS of the SPIRIT" (Rom.2:29; 7:6) we also need to remember, He WHO IS called YaHuWaH-Shua  IS THE WORD (Jhn.1:1-3,14), and that which is SCRIPTURE at the writing of the New Covenant, is The Old Covenant, THE FOUNDATION of OUR FAITH (Heb.6:1-3; Gal.3:23-29).
     The big question that remains about the (as of yet) Incomplete or Unfulfilled Prophecies (Jer.3:18; 16:15,16; 23:8; 24:6):

      On That Day YaHuWaH will Thresh from the channel of the Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you will be Gathered One by One, O people of Yisrael. And on that day a GREAT TRUMPET will be BLOWN, and those who were Lost (2Cor.4:1-6) in the land of Assyria and those who were Driven Out to the land of Egypt will come and worship YaHuWaH on the HOLY MOUNTAIN at JERUSALEM (Is.27:12,13).

is if they are leading into The Millennium, or IN the MILLENNIAL REIGN.

         O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have Heard of the LORD of hosts, the Adown of Israel, have I Declared unto You (Is.21:8-10).
